RED SEAL RESCUE
SAFTEY BOATS
'L'adresse Surmonte La Force' - Skill overcomes strength
Red Seal was founded back in 1967 by Paulin Denham Christie.
Denham Christie was a shipyard director & coxswain of Tynemouth Lifeboat.
It was founded to help assist with
safety boats for sea scout regattas.
We used to go by the name of 3rd Tyne Sea Scouts Red Seal Inland Water Rescue.
One of the first jobs we attended was the Page Bank Floods in County Durham.
Since then we have grown and now provide safety cover for a wide variety of events, on or near water, across the country.
For any booking enquires get in touch.
OUR STORY
WHAT WE DO
Red Seal Rescue provide safety cover for a variety of events on or near water.
This could be rowing, sailing or land based events such as the Junior Great North Run.
Most of the events we cover are based in the North East however, we do also travel across the country.
We provide training and equipment for all members.
We train all members to RYA standard whether that be RYA level 1, 2 or Safety Boat.
Each recruit will receive a certificate as they progress through the various levels.
We are always looking for new members to join our team!
So if you are aged 13 and over, looking for a new challenge, don't mind getting your hands dirty & are eager to learn new skills, please feel free to get in touch.
